Hibiscus Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum

Did you know the Hibiscus flower is known as "natural botox?" It has wonderful health benefits when ingested as a tincture, as well as amazing benefits when used as a skin care ingredient! I'm a skin care formulator and herbalist, with certifications in making skin care products, as well as knowing how to make my own plant and flower extracts.

Honestly, I have to say this is one of my favorite custom formulations and I apply it daily as part of my skin care routine!

I'm skilled in making herbal extracts and this facial serum contains hibiscus flower extract that I made myself. I also include ingredients that you won't see formulated together in a facial serum - ingredients like Reishi mushroom extract; niacinamide, and acetyl glucosamine - along with the tried and true hyaluronic acid! I used two different kinds of hyaluronic acid, however! One is a medium molecular weight that not only benefits the top layer of the skin, but also penetrates deeper for more permanent benefits. The other hyaluronic acid used is a unique HA combined with algae extract.
 
Let's talk more about the star ingredient in this serum - Hibiscus flower extract. I read the following about Hibiscus extract: "Hibiscus blocks the enzyme responsible for breaking down connective tissue. So you'll notice more elasticity to your skin and improvement of loose, sagging skin. Hibiscus extract rarely causes allergic reactions and suits all skin types so is better than Botox which simply paralyses wrinkle-causing muscles." 

The Hibiscus extract also creates a gorgeous color to this serum! :))

The other ingredients worth mentioning in this incredible anti-aging facial serum are:
